QUINN WHITAKER (SET & LIGHTING DESIGNER) Quinn Whitaker began studying theatre design and production at Oakland School for the Arts with a concentration in Lighting Design and Stage Management. She then went on to Barnard College where she served as Lighting Designer and Stage Manager for Columbia University Event Management and the Columbia Musical Theatre Society. While living in New York Quinn worked on many shows as a technician, including the International Architectural Lighting Design Awards and the Ellie Charles Awards. She's now the Production Manager for Wily West Productions and works as our lighting technician, stage manager, lighting designer, prop mistress, and set designer. Quinn is Co-Chair of the Oakland School for the Arts Alumni Association. Quinn just finished designing the lights and sets for Wily West production of SAN FRANCISCO STORIES and she stage managed and designed the lights for the Playwright’s Center of San Francisco’s annual fundraiser, SHEREZADE X. Quinn is also one of the lead singers of the band Redneck Sundays. |
